South African born & raised, I do love South Africa, it's a beautiful country with such extreme diversity in all it has to offer. I would call myself both a bush & beach gal, SA offers both these in abundance. I chose my career over having a family, and have no regrets. I live a very fulfilled life and love to travel, cook, entertain & spend time with friends and family.

My passions in life are traveling, food, photography, playing Padel, my family, my dog and my friends. I am a very disciplined and driven individual and forever seek to improve myself. You have to know sadness to appreciate happiness, you have to fail to succeed, always see the glass half full, not half empty. Positivity is everything.

ONCE UPON A TIME In 2004, I formed my own Public Relations & Marketing consultancy. Sixteen years later, as Covid hit in 2020, I woke up one day with complete burn-out, yes I had pushed myself too far. Covid offered me the perfect opportunity to take a 2 year sabbatical, to sit back and decide what was next for me. In 2022, as the world remerged and businesses hard hit by the pandemic, slowly re-opened, a friend who owns a large Events & Incentive Travel company, needed my help.

WORKING FOR A BOSS: I wasn’t convinced I could work for a “boss”, after having worked for myself for 20 odd years, but decided that I would embrace the opportunity and quite liked the idea of having no responsibility other than showing up and doing my job. I loved my new life and loved my work, but.....I was having to live off of my savings, to supplement my income, just to make ends meet every month. My dwindling savings account balance was a source of extreme stress for me. It will run out and then what? What about the future, what about building financial freedom for my retirement? As hard as I was working, I wasn't earning enough to live life, I was merely existing month to month.

This financial stronghold consumed and crippled me mentally and emotionally. I have worked so hard my entire life and to find myself in this dire situation in my mid-fifties, was debilitating. I needed to change my life. I needed more, I yearned for the freedom to travel again, to live the life I dream of.

WHAT LED ME HERE: I started searching for what was next. I didn’t want to go back to what I was doing before, primarily due to the fact that PR & Marketing have evolved and morphed into a new reality, with the advent of the digital age. I was very drawn to exploring the world of online digital marketing, it truly is the future. I figured if I looked to build a career online, I would have the freedom to work from home and have time freedom, which appealed to me. In addition, working online means access to global opportunities and markets.

So down the rabbit hole I went. I am one of those people who takes on a project and leaves no stone unturned, I do my homework, I research, I explore, I question and when I am ready, I make an informed decision. I have spent the last twelve months sucking the life blood out of everything that falls into the “make money online” realm.

It was purely serendipitous that I stumbled across an online post that simply read “Leaders Seeking Freedom & Life/Work Balance – A business solution for people looking to transition away from traditional employment and into online entrepreneurship & personal development, to create a substantial alternative income stream” – in three lines this encompassed precisely what I was seeking all this time. I had finally struck gold, after all this time spent digging.

PERSONAL GROWTH: My biggest excitement... the words ‘Personal Development’ – I am a fan. I do believe that it is imperative to become a better version of yourself, do the work on yourself, personal growth is a life long journey. The Road Less Travelled by Scott F Peck, was the first book that fueled my passion on the subject, and my most recent read, The Wealth Money Can’t Buy by Robin Sharma, form part of my extensive library of Personal Development books. The book that had the most profound long-term significance on my life was “In the Meantime” by Iyanla Vanzant.
